We provide information and assistance to mobile researchers – by means of this portal and with the support of our national EURAXESS Service Centres in Finland. Please approach these Service Centres directly if you are planning a research stay at one of the referred institutions.

EURAXESS is a joint initiative of the European Commission and the 40 countries participating in the European Union's Horizon 2020 Programme for Research.

The processing times for residence permits are somewhat longer in some Finnish embassies and other missions or service providers at the moment. As the situation varies between embassies, you can check the status regarding your situation from this website of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.
