EURAXESS Finland Service Centres

In Finland, our 13 EURAXESS Service Centres support international researchers and their families relocating to Finnish universities and research organisations. If you are planning a research stay in Finland, please contact the EURAXESS Service Centre at your host institution directly. All EURAXESS services are free of charge and delivered in accordance with the EURAXESS Service Commitment.

Researchers based in Finland can also benefit from the wider EURAXESS network when exploring research and career opportunities elsewhere in Europe. When planning a move abroad, we encourage you to contact the support services at your current host institution, as important practical arrangements may need to be made before your departure from Finland.

EURAXESS Finland Network

In addition to supporting researchers, the EURAXESS Finland network supports professionals working in researcher mobility and research careers through networking, collaboration and professional development activities. The EURAXESS network is a joint initiative of the European Commission and the countries participating in the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.

As a researcher mobility and research careers professional, if you would like to get involved in EURAXESS Finland activities, please contact the Bridgehead Organisation (BHO). We organise regular network meetings and workshops to share knowledge and best practices. Through the EURAXESS Finland network, professionals also have opportunities to connect with other researcher mobility and research careers professionals across the wider EURAXESS network in Europe. Tampere University currently serves as the national EURAXESS BHO and coordinates the Finland network.
